So on my Steinberg account, I didn't know, elicenser send and parallel updating my dongle/license info (every time you open eLicenser it sends data to Steinberg server), You see, for each license there is just ONE LICENSE ID, which is activated with multiple ACTIVATION CODES. Because of that i have said thay Team VR played dirty with that one, because if you lose his patched files all kind of errors will happen during the software using, because that license is like MASTER LICENSE and that will be the first one checked while opening software and without VR cracked files you can not use that license otherwise you will get all kind of errors. Then reinstall eLCC, so all cracked files from Team VR will vanish, the only license it will be in RED and inactive is "ALL APPLICATIONS FOR SOFT ELICENSER" and that license requires online activation. But for sure that is slowly being obsolete, and no relevant to any new Steinberg software.įor example, same license exist in Team VR b25 release. The actual license they alter is "All applications for soft elicenser" which is DEMO and needs to be activated online, and the other same one is just for USB dongle, but as they have said, with their knowledge and help from Team AiR i guess, they changed some bits in license code/ID so they have made a completely new license to fit in SeL, but it can cause errors because it is not existing in eLC database.
